Project Profile:  Woodhaven-Brownstown SD

Woodhaven-Brownstown School District is home to five elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and one alternative high school. The Bond Program and ongoing voter approved Sinking Funds have allowed the district to keep each of these buildings in excellent repair and also given the staff, students, and community much to be proud of.

Services Provided by Lecole Planners:

  • Served as liaison between school buildings, administration, the construction manager & the architect
  • Series 1: worked with District to “clean up” projects and review processes of the current Team
  • Assisted District in hiring new Construction Manager and Architect via RFP and interview process
  • Series 2: (under new Team) coordinated abatement work with overall construction
  • Coordinated building moves including staff meetings and bidding process
  • Served as liaison to the principals for questions or concerns
  • Reviewed drawings and observed construction 
  • Worked with architect to coordinate replacement of 75% of all furniture
  • Prepared punchlists on behalf of school district
